Between Christmas and New Year we decide to embark on a new project. We need some paving laying in the back garden, but would also like to renovate it at the same time. The existing grass is not very good and the soil quality appears to be poor. There are also a number of trees that we would like removing. Separately we would like the driveway widened, and some trees removed from the front garden.
With money tight, it feels like a 'nicety' but in reality we can't use the back garden until it's made safe for Darcey, and Mike is keen to progress work on the front garden at the same time... We discuss the options with a couple of men that are free in January and agree to begin work on Monday 5th.
