Jim returns. By the end of the day the downstairs WC and upstairs loo and basin are working. We have a waste pipe in place for the shower, but this can't be plumbed in as the feet & trap are still missing.
We hear back from the bathroom supplier. They have sourced new seats for the toilets, so will arrange for a collection/delivery sometime next week.
Mike fits the remaining plinths in the kitchen - just the skirting (& painting) to go now.
