The path at the side of the house is laid today. For drainage reasons the path is sloped and gravel is laid down one side (the gravel was collected from the building merchant today). Once the path is complete, work begins on marking out the front drive. A drain cover is removed and a new (steel inlay) manhole cover is positioned. Sodium chloride is put down (as a weedkiller) before the sand and blocks are laid tomorrow.
Mike lays a few kitchen floor tiles (around the breakfast bar area).
