Monday 11 August 2008 – Day 36

It feels like lots happened today. Three joiners were on site – they remove the contents of the utility room and some of kitchen, allowing access to work on/remove the ceiling above. The fridge is moved to the dining room. The washer and dryer are re-located to the secure container in the back garden (will have to rely on the kindness of family and friends for clean clothes from now on!). The joiners also begin work on the new section of kitchen roof - Apparently the roofers are booked for Thursday (the same day we expect a second visit by the kitchen company)!

An electricial visits in the morning to rework some of the cables in the garage. The plumber remains elusive.
