No builders were on site today, so there's not much to report building wise.
Mike spots that 6 of the kitchen roof tiles are cracked.
We take more clothes to family to be washed. It's difficult to dry washing as we've lost the central heating & we can't use the garden. We're getting used to the slightly cold feel of the house (appears to get colder by the day!). Good job it's open plan - we've had the fire on a couple of times to take the chill off (can't believe it's August!). We do have hot water (using the immersion heater) if we plan in advance.
The third set of kitchen plans arrive. The kitchen company must be fed up with us revising them but we'd prefer to get it right! Still some changes to make, but we feel that we're getting there. We ordered the cooker late last week (knowing that there's a 3-5 week lead time). Earlier in the week the manufacturer contacted us to see if we could take delivery on 3rd September. We've asked if we can put this back... Just hope we don't have to put it back again.
